Memory of the Dragon Empire is strong: China remains grateful to USA help in the Sino-Japanese war of 1937-1945. From the Japanese invasion of Manchuria in 1937 to the USA atomic bombs, stopping Japanese Army occupying 50% of China with the main cities and reaching Hong Kong. From the beginning of Mao long march to the power to Chang Kai-sheck escaping to Formosa, with three million Chinese. USA was always at China side with money and military aids to assure its independence and surviving. Eighty years later China has the enormous opportunity to give back the favour to a declining USA leadership and to become the new leader of globalisation processes, through a pacific transfer of world empire crown. The European centred classification of Anglo-Saxon first tier, then Russia, then Third World, now BRICS, forgot completely the role of China Empire in world history: they were the first Empire with Rome and Persia and they feel themselves the first, considering other populations or consumers of their products, or subjected to their Empire. And to be acknowledged as the first they want to become like USA, where about 6 million Chinese live and invested in the development of China economy, transferring the American way of living to the main cities citizens in their fatherland. Any other political move to Russia or BRICS are only instrumental for reaching the main strategic objective: to become the new USA leading the world with their culture, science, technology, discipline, as they were leading the world for more then 2000 years before European colonisation, from 221 BC to 1912. They never thought to be part of the Third World as European and Americans were classifying their nation. And also today their participation to Third World organisations to overthrough dollar and USA leadership is only a collateral effect of their real self appreciation, a network building of suppliers and consumers, but all the investments, all the energies are focused on being the first.
The Trump visit is quite the ending step of the final triumph. According to their Empire tradition and culture they invite all the nations to visit them and they are very generous in gifts and ceremonies, but if you go to Beijng in their culture you accept submission. “Timeo Danaos et dona ferentes” was the motto of Rome: I am afraid of Greeks also when they take gifts to me. This Ancient Greek strategy is the same culture and political ability of Chinese subtle and long experience of diplomacy.
The visit of Trump already weakened by Ukraine war and Iran substantial resilience, together with all the tech oligarch of USA, is a request of help in business and in international American positioning, which is forwarding to a forced and not autonomous isolation. And the answer of China has been a triumphal receiving and a quite protection attitude of Xi, never so happy and active, protecting Trump in their walking through very secret and reserved places, never visited from other leaders arrived in China. Not a word on conflicts, except a traditional focus on Taiwan (Formosa) question, not a word on Russia and Ukraine war, ships moving in Hormuz chokepoint after months. Tech billionaire oligarchs on side tables to do business, never shake hands with Xi, always together with a very depressed Trump for two days.
Of course this is not a complete turnaround of history trend, but I think really a very important milestone, like the Costantinian declaration in Milan in 313 AC leaving the Roman Empire in the hands of Catholic Church established not by chance in Rome. I think from today on all the national European policies, included Russian ones will be redesigned. Italy had the opportunity twenty years ago to be the first in Europe to open the Chinese era, with its infrastructure system, abandoned in favour of Balkans corridor, because afraid of USA reaction to our cooperation with Silk Roads Chinese projects. Now we will see USA selling Oil and AI business to China, and not as leaders but as followers recognising the Chinese leadership. History is always teaching and Empires leave unforgettable heritage were populations study and cultivate their dignity, producing nothing where memories are abandoned and self love forgot.
