- Chairman of AIRO, Italian Association of Operation Research, from 1982 to 1988. He created a Sponsor Committee of more than 30 big firms, developing substantially the membership and Academic relevance of the Association.
- Member of AIIG, Italian association of management Engineering, elected to the Executive Committee in 1998.
- Member of AILOG, Italian Association of Logistic.
- Co-founder of ASSOCHANGE, Italian Association of Change Management in 2002.
- In 2017 included in the Hall of Fame of CSCMP, Italian Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals.
